Kays Creek Irrigation Board Meeting
Layton City Engineering Offices
Present: Stephen Jackson, Jon Green, Clark Hirschi, Joe Love, Scott Green (by Face Time)
Meeting Start: 4pm
Shareholder’s Meeting Date: April 10, 2019, 6 to 7pm.
Conduct at board meeting: 1. Questions to be submitted 10 days beforehand. The board reserves the right to table any questions not received beforehand, and to respond to them at a later date by email; 2. Shareholders of record who want to ask their questions must come to the microphone and state their name for the record; 3. the meeting will be recorded; 4. Motions are made by the board; 5. Each question will be asked and answered once only; 6. 3 minute time limit at the microphone for each shareholder; 7. Robert’s Rules (parliamentary procedure) to be utilized during the meeting.
Notice of board meeting to go in with the bills. This is to be separate from the newsletter.
Farmers who haven’t paid their assessment will not get their turn in the spring. If they don’t pay the assessment then their shares can be repossessed.
Bart Hyde to be sent a letter regarding his water share.
Christian Lundahl to be sent a letter regarding certificate #879 that it will be repossessed if the bill isn’t paid. The letter needs to go to him as he is the owner of record, even though he says the certificate was written over to Dave Adams.
Scott and Steve will meet with a consultant regarding the possibility of merger with Layton City.
Replacement of pipe will continue on Gordon Avenue this year.
